Six pack abs are made in the kitchen, not by doing 100 stomach crunches a day.

Age and a lack of ego about it?

Can’t wait for Rob Bricken to not pay attention while watching the finale and be confused by things that have been explained in the episode.

I mean he probably will. They just won’t be films; stage plays, novels, TV shows.

When Velma realized she couldn’t have Sam Winchester and his broad shoulders, of course she’d turn to lesbianism.

Maybe Snyder had it right. Approach the movies like DC approaches comics. Do a five film arc, then pass it on to another director and do a soft reboot.

She wanted to do porn, it’s not like she was in dire straights and porn was the only answer. I think she’s even said there’s less bullshit making porn than acting in Hollywood. So, hey if she’s happy. Nothing depressing about it.

    They actually don’t.

I never saw it as particularly romantic. More Hannibal seemingly finding a kindred spirit with Will through his extreme empathy. And Will just being put through the ringer mentally by Hannibal he doesn’t know what is going on.

If you are into a 14-year-old edgelord’s idea of cool, I guess.

The Internet wins, they’ll get their Superman talking about whacking off and calling Aquaman fishfucker. But he’ll have a goofy smile all the time while doing it, so it all evens out.

The Suicide Squad was a huge bomb.

Gunn’s version would have Superman whacking off afterwards.

Cavill didn’t even play him that way. He just played Clark Kent / Superman like an actual person. Just because he didn’t walk around with a goofy smile all the time doesn’t mean he was “gritty” and “grimdark”. Because he does smile throughout the films, it’s just for moments where it warrants it.

What’s “proper” for a character that’s over 80 years old? Is it a Superman that destroys the car of a wife beater and fights for the oppressed? One that’s a propaganda machine for the U.S. during WWII? A right-wing Reaganite? Sporting a mullet? A Superman that laments that he’s the only one of his kind and questions

Plenty of people wanted to make a Superman movie. It’s just Toby Emmerich was so obsessed with James Gunn making a dick jokes edgelord Superman movie, he wouldn’t agree to any pitches.

It only took two movies for her to get lost up her own ass as a director.

It would have to be like a flat 80 minutes. Certain things can be expanded upon, that wouldn’t feel inorganic to the story being told.

Snyder didn’t see him as a hero, anymore than Moore did. In fact he probably made him more of a psycho. I mean Moore himself has said Rorschach was the one character with a moral center. So, even Moore’s views on the character aren’t black and white.

Wakanda is straight up an Objectivist utopia.
