That’s kind of the problem with the show being so grounded, that the more really surreal moments like the invisible car from Season 1 just come off as jarring and too tonally consistent.

It’s more the hypocrisy, people lost their shit about Batman saying fuck. Going on about how he should never curse, etc...

Didn’t you just say you got kicked from Gizmodo for harassment? And yet here you are.

Nowhere near the same thing as an Aquaman fucks fish joke. Like not even in the same ballpark.

I think the main issue is that for the first time we get (most) of the Justice League on screen since 2017 (not counting ZSJL) and it’s for an Aquaman is a fish fucker joke. Basically Peacemaker spends the entire series talking shit about the Justice League, and then they show up and passively take his insults.

Legit, surprisingly considering it was from Jim Jefferies, was pretty good with how it used the handicapped or the developmentally disabled (all were played by actual handicapped / autistic people except DJ Qualls). Mostly because they were treated as normal as any other character. Rodney, an autistic character was

Dunham being a dipshit? I am shocked!

Even Bill Burr, a friend of Rogan’s has called him out as an idiot about COVID and vaccines.

It’s apparently a curated selection of episodes done by Jessica Mason. So, that alone is a hard pass from me.

The writer seemed to be firmly in Whedon’s corner, hence why they never confronted any of his answers, and instead threw out potshots directed Snyder. Saying he made Nazi propaganda films, pushed the theory that Snyder was manipulating Fisher into speaking out against Whedon and the impossibility that people turned

It’s way more than that. They let c-bombs go through uncensored.

I mean, the “Charlie Work” episode showed that Charlie was fairly competent at his job, at least where literacy wasn’t concerned.

    It lacked authenticity.

I thought the live-action Bleach was okay.

Not to mention they took characters that were Asian like Faye, Mao and arguably Vicious, and made them Latina, a Maori woman, and whatever the fuck they were thinking with Vicious.

If she were a dude, she wouldn’t have written a 10 minute song about how shitty her ex was.

Someone posted a article in here about how Snyder used gas guns that synced up with LED panels to create the muzzle flashes in Army of the Dead. Apparently it’s a little more time consuming, but it clearly worked.

Blanks look better and you get a more realistic reaction from the recoil, and more often than not for low-budget films, the muzzle flashes can look overtly fake.

Faye seems like a completely new character (I don’t mean the outfit). I think it’s her seeming so buddy buddy with Jet and Spike that feels so off. I don’t know, something about this show just feels off.

From what I remember she wanted what Macy was making, plus the difference in back pay if she has been paid the same as Macy for those years she wasn’t.
