In the same way the Rav4 PHEV is the most logical car for the every person, this is now the most logical car for the enthusiast.

People that tint their lights don’t care about the reflectors or even know that they are there and serve a purpose. They tint their lights under the assumption that the active lighting is still bright enough to be somewhat seen.

David, please ask a local Polizei/highway patrol what the penalty would’ve been for taking your postal Jeep out on the highway in Deutschland.

Sometimes something is one-sided.

The military human factors research pointed out CLEARLY 40 years ago: humans suck at “overseeing” highly automated tasks that fuck up once in awhile. Structuring systems in this way is asking for trouble.

I’m a physicist who currently works in tech, and having driven a friend’s Model 3 with the self-driving package recently, I agree with you. It’s more fatiguing and the car demands so much confirmation it’s easier to just turn it off and drive the car as a level 0 autonomous car unless you’re driving hundreds of miles…

I bet these are parking lights - that can be turned on a single side of the vehicle or the other, depending on which side of the road you find yourself stranded (turning on the side that’s facing the road).
