It will still recognize errors by French students - the difference is that our current contents are focusing on common mistakes by Asian students, while French students usually have a different set of errors that we have not yet included in our content yet. Kristin, that’s correct. We only teach American English right now (and more specifically the general American English, mid-west accent - as it’s the most neutral accent). we hope to do other accents in the future :)
