Out of all of that you only have the one semi-truck and another passenger car that stopped to help. The one car kept going and then it looked like they were getting out to check damage on their own car.

You didn’t know that was a thing? Bentley has filled the rail channels and firewalls of their cars with sand and cement before for sound deadening and to better redistribute the weight for a smoother ride. It’s ridiculous but so effective that Lexus copied the technique for the original LS400.
I don’t want them to lobby their way out of this. I want to see if they can overcome the engineering challenges. No more shortcuts like filling body panels with sand for sound deadening.
There’s three different siren types our local firetrucks have. There’s the “Please move we need to get to the crash in front of you” sounding “awoooo” like the one in the video. There’s the “WHEEP WHEEP! WHEEP WHEEP! WHEEP WHEEP!” meant to clear pedestrians. Then there’s the “CHEE WOO CHEE WOO CHEE WOO WIDDLE WIDDLE…
There are worse things people keep in their cars. Cellphones in the cupholders, pens on the dashboard shelf, hula girls and The Dog figurines glued just aft of the windshield vents. I’ve seen the aftermath of a high speed rollover with basic stuff unsecured in the car. The wounds took months to heal and left scars on…

iPod Classic 5G and the iPod Nano 4G were the first to support video. Both the 3G and 5G Classics are worth some money to collectors these days.
Most people don’t do that, though. Either because to them it’s too difficult to convert filetypes, move them to the SD card (if their phone even has an SD card), or even finding access to them. Not to mention the prevalence of Spotify and things being pre-installed means most people get lured in from the start. It’s…
I have a 6G iPod Nano that runs all the music in my car currently. The thing’s close to fifteen years old and still holds a charge that’ll last two weeks. And yes, I’m still waiting for people to break into the software so I can get custom clock faces and backgrounds. Never give up hope!
That said, the death of the…
Where’s the two naked guys standing on a pontoon boat with a ripped canopy pissing into the water while drunkenly singing “Mama Don’t Get Dressed Up For Nothin’” in a slurred off-tempo duet?
Which makes me question how much of this is an emotional response, akin to how GM kept trying to recreate products Opel had already made better versions of throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Ford will be ceding a huge portion of the market, because customers won’t abandon Euro vans, they’ll abandon Ford. There’s a…
That sucks. This van would be perfect for a lot of people. It’s bigger than the current Transit in interior width while having the same exterior dimensions and can power exterior tools without the need of a generator, making it perfect for remote locations.
A lot of contractors and tradesmen have abandoned trucks…
You can get Compute Modules pretty easily. They usually have a ton of stock.
The problem is it’s a fucking pain in the ass to work with the compute modules because you have no GPIO, no screen output, and even getting the wireless functionality to work is a several layers deep process before you even get to using PuTTY.…
A big problem is nobody uses the original patterned cloth many seats came with. For me it’s a really big part of the aesthetic of classic cars, having those cloth seats with houndstooth or paisley patterns in them. They either go with white, red, and black vinyl or white, black, and brown leather.
Ah yes, the EA method. Ship it missing half of what it needs to function and fix it later if you feel like it.
Ease of use does not justify laziness. Either ship the broken version and take the hit you deserve, or delay the product.
I call everyone “my dudes” because often times it’s a gender neutral term in the modern era. It’s a way to get around misgendering somebody until you learn their pronouns. Also because I’m a disorganized mess of slang where I still say “groovy” alongside “yeet.”
Also saying “It’s cool, you’re good” or “I’m good” has a…
Yeah, the DeLorean was supposed to have a V8 and a Ford Cologne V6. They couldn’t make the in-house V8 work and were running out of money after spending five years fighting with Guigiaro and various governments to find a place to manufacture the car, so they went with the cheaper Peugeot-Renault-Volvo PRV6 since Ford…
Wait, was this Wally’s car? It can’t be, right? He had factory support.
They might do a ship to ship transfer and exchange manifests. Wouldn’t be the first time something like that’s happened.
People realize that Overwatch 2 is actually just a hotpatch of Overwatch, right? It’s not even a different game. It even uses the same launcher. The models in Overwatch 2 are the same ones in Overwatch. Tracer’s proportions in the default outfit are the same in both games.
Also, regarding that image of Mercy, Tracer,…
