I get there may be some reliability stereotypes floating around out there, but if I’m buying a sedan (or an SUV for that matter), and my choice comes down to Alfa and BMA - I’m buying the Alfa every time. On looks and sounds alone. And honestly - as a new car, with a warranty, how much do I really care about

This commercial still comes to mind today.  At the time, I really wanted a Jetta, but as a recent Uni grad, had no money.  This commercial didn’t help, because it was so cool.

The aesthetic, the sound, the feeling, the music. You have to be a bit dead inside not to feel something from this ad. Dodge, love or hate them, and Chrysler/FCA/Stellantis know how to make good commericals:

The worst of 90's gaming? You mean T2 the arcade game for Sega Genesis, where you have to destroy every single item in Cyberdyne, and if you miss as much as a speck of dust you lose? Or, also Sega related, waiting an eternity for Mortal Kombat CD, only for it to be a steaming dung heap on release?

Exactly. Obi-Wan and Yoda were already clear precedent for the idea that individual Jedi had survived the purge and gone into hiding by themselves. There doesn’t need to be a secret community of them somewhere to explain if and when any more reappear. And some of them may well have been helping fight the Empire

Star Trek fans are very much used to fighting through clunky gameplay in order to play in that universe.

I’m pumped about this. I think I’ll be able to overlook some clunky gameplay to get a story of new characters on a new ship that captures the feel of the TNG era, a type of science fiction that I’ve been missing for a long time.

100%.  I would not be surprised if there was a (small) market for these things if they could actually be dailied.  Myself included.

If it doesn’t have 6/7/8 seats, it’s not a proper minivan. This is cool, but it appears to be really just putting sliding doors on a track car, not making a Pacifica awesome.

This and the RCF are as close as us normal people will ever get to the LFA. I have an RCF and love it.

If you want to know why regular people can’t stand stand car people, just waddle over to Car and Driver’s stories about the LC 500 revamp and the original test (links below), and read the comments bemoaning the ‘disappointing performance’ of a vehicle that will do a 1/4 mile @ 13 seconds and 112 mph. Jebus, these

This car definitely has a presence that can’t be conveyed in pictures. It’s usually in my list of Lottery Cars as a road trip car or Sunday cruising machine.

Let’s just throw conservative dicks under the bus.

can we not throw dicks under the bus

Is broken dick a serious disease? Viagra got the fastest FDA approval. Can we sue the FDA for that?

Was the Echo character popular? I burned out mid-season with Hawkeye, but I get why Agatha got a show - Kathryn Hahn is a great actress and the character was popular in a highly rated MCU show.

Yeah, that was a weird stretch.

yeah i don’t even think it went to disney+ particularly fast either? it had a relatively normal theatrical run for the pandemic and then hit digital a few months later.

that he is still in the show.
