Nothing deflated my interest more in this game than hearing about “Skill cards” I will never understand the desire to insert deck building/card mechanics in games where it doesn’t belong.

Although, shades of Mark VIII too.

No offense to Jim Starlin but if they included a sequence with Thanos attacking Xandar I can’t imagine it would’ve been anywhere near 45 minutes. It just doesn’t make sense. I would have never thought in a lifetime that I would play a game whose developers died while making it defending their own country.

This is hella melodramatic.  Videogame movies have always been a thing.  They did Uncharted recently.  The Resident Evil series.  Hitman.  Rampage.  The third Sonic is coming up.  I don’t understand the histrionics in this article.

Not being sold in the U.S. also makes it tough to spot one, for me at least.

Probably too little, too late to make this game an interesting single-player experience with depth and story, like the Guardians of the Galaxy game. To take all of the looter-shooter elements out of the game would probably ruin the whole thing (even moreso).

Anything with an “online-only” requirement for single-player is an immediate no-go for me. Gameplay looked like it could’ve been fun, but does not interest me considering all the cool things they could’ve done with the Suicide Squad.
