Fundamentally Trevorrow isn’t interested in the dinosaurs, let alone how they interact with people. He’s just not a dinosaur guy, and you need a dinosaur guy to write at least the basic plot of a Jurassic movie for it to be good. This is why we got dumb shit like the Indominus Rex (fucking talking to the raptors god

I had to take my third year college Japanese final exam while high because I thought it would be a good idea to eat some homemade pot cookies the night before the exam and I was still feeling very strong effects when my exam came around the next morning even though I was otherwise a regular smoker.

Dosing was my first concern too. I have been using edibles for a year now, almost exclusively. They are too expensive (considering that they’re usually made from weed ‘bits’ that can’t be sold), so I’m trying to learn how to make my own. The dosing part is the biggest problem.

I see two major problems with cannabis-infused food in restaurants.

And that really is how they are wording it, which is pretty sketchy...

“100% seasoned real beef patties”

So raise the price and increase marketing. No thanks.

Only been to a Waffle House once- late at night as a student after we’d been drinking. I just remember the grits being this unnerving bright yellow color under the florescent lights.

I moved from Seattle to San Diego and I miss the ubiquity of spicy chicken Teriyaki SO MUCH. It literally does not exist here. There’s some passable regular chicken, but no spicy at all. But then I went back to Seattle to visit family and gorged on spicy chicken, but missed the tacos we have down here. I don’t know

Correction on your final sentence, Turning Red ISNT coming to theaters at all. Only Disney+.

When I was 9, my family moved to a small, ranch style house in a very rural suburb on Lake Erie. The last house we lived in was over 100 years old, and my family has personal ghost stories about little things they’d seen and heard while they lived here, but for my little sister and I, this new house would be the home

My mom grew up in a small farm in the middle-of-nowhere northwestern Minnesota. Her dad died before I was born, but I regularly visited her mom (my grandmother) still living at the farm, until she passed when I was a teenager. My grandmother was the prototypical Great Depression-forged Midwest farm wife of Norwegian

On of the best things that has happened in my work life was having a co-worker who was a competitive baker. New recipes came to the break room for opinions. Not quite perfect looking products were always welcomed. I thought things couldn’t get any better until another co-workers spouse got into competitive BBQ.

That is something to keep in mind if you are road tripping — but don’t do it for the food. Secret Stash wasn’t that great of a restaurant when I was there a couple of years back, and it is way out of the way unless you are headed somewhere else (I was heading towards Lake City from Denver).

Secret Stash is a great place. Just wish the town hadn't starting giving Breckenridge vibes.

Logan is also where Fox blatantly showed that their X-men franchise ends in tragedy.

Calling it: This is going to break all the shares and assignments in my departments shared drive...

My camping equipment includes an aeropress because I’m a sophisticated outdoors enthusiast.

How can a list of the ‘best’ uses for potatoes not include french fries and baked potatoes?
