My family got too big for our 2016 GTI so I went for an Accord 2.0t Touring. Not exactly as much fun as the GTI was but it is quick and understated while providing cavernous interior room.

Back in June I bought a leftover 2018 Accord Touring 2.0t for $8,000 off and that was their initial offer when i inquired on the price. I also have a 2018 Pilot, so I’m out of the new car game for at least 10 years.

I just got my leftover 2018 Touring 2.0 with an MSRP of $36,690 and $4,500 in dealer add ons for $29,500

I traded my 2016 GTI SE 6spd with performance package, lighting package, and dynamic chassis control for a leftover 2018 Accord Touring 2.0t and have no regrets. The Accord is faster than the GTI, gets great mileage, has adaptive dampers and my family of 4 can actually fit in it comfortably for long trips. The 10spd

4th gen camaro came to mind when I first saw the front

Since we will only get the GTI and R, a digital dash makes sense.

The one thing you will find that you don’t like is that short trips in brutal winter weather are very, very cold

Exactly. My ‘11 TDI is paid off. I would like to sell it back to VW in February of ‘17, when the registration runs out. At that point, I will have owned the car 70 months and 72k miles all for $6,000 (purchase price + interest - buyback). I bought a ‘16 GTI in august at 20% off MSRP to replace it. Once I apply my VW

Call me crazy, but I bought a new GTI to replce our golf TDI once its gone. The golf fit our needs so I couldn’t pass up a GTI at MY16 year end pricing.

Hudson. My kids actual name.

I will be selling ours back. We are in pretty good shape. We have a 2011 golf that is paid off. We purchased it for $25,500 and spent $1,600 in interest for financing. It looks like our buyback figure is $20,387. $7,100 to use a car for 5.5 years and 70,000 miles is pretty good to me.

Probably. But I don’t know as I can’t stand to watch the new version at all.

I like the VT plates on it. Never seen the car up here though
