I know I’m supposed to hate the SC430 but I don’t. Did they cost too much for what they were, sure. So do a bunch of other cars.

Subaru 360. I didn’t get to drive it far but it was basically what you would expect. You’d fall backwards into the seat since it is so low. The car rides exactly like a modern golf cart with about the same amount of speed. Visibility is surprisingly pretty good although it’s a loud little engine. If I had some land I

I used to call my check engine light my auxiliary heater which would have been funny if the thermostat wasn’t permanently stuck after they replaced it 4 times.

I’ve always like and appreciated the Ridgeline. I’ll admit that I’m a Honda fan. I owned several Tacoma’s up to the original Ridgeline’s release and fully expected to buy one. I never did though because honestly, I never could get over its looks. It was an ugly vehicle and I hated the rear buttresses that mimicked the

I actually kind of like it.

Plus you would capitalize the tooling costs.

Sure they could do that but they won’t. They will develop the cheapest way possible to fix this, save the rest of their contingency budget for incoming lawsuit defense and re-brand all their diesel’s as something else to confuse any new potential buyers that “these diesel’s” are completely different from those old

I never use the pre-rinse or any rinse until the end. No reason to not just go right to the soap, at least at the wash places around here it’s all high pressure. I go: Soap to Rinse, Wax to Rinse soap, then Water Rinse and Spot free if they have it.

I will be buying the 2019 model year version after the initial two years are recalls have been completed...

You want that for sub $30k? Good luck.

I’ve had a 05 and 11 Frontier. I would have bought a third but the gas mileage and the fact that they hadn’t changed a thing in years was enough of a reason to wait until the redesign comes out.

Right there with you. I’m holding out for a Frontier or a Ridgeline.

Not sure I can offer much advice on DD one of these. I tried it myself during the warmer months but it just didn’t work out. Some things I tried that did make things better:

Nope, but I store it in the winter and try not to drive it in the rain. There’s a few hints of rust on some mild steel components under the hood but nothing to be concerned about. If you can find a well cared for one I would check the inner wheel wells like most 90-mid 2000’s Hondas, that’s a prime spot. Also the rear

Hardtop?

Totally agree. Great car and engine, horrible transmission.

I’ve got a 2002 with 93k, as reliable as a Civic. I actually find the ride to be pretty good, it’s stiff in the corners but pliable enough on broken pavement to not be too jarring. It sucks in stop and go traffic. The car can do it easily but you’re going to tire of it quickly especially if you are going to try and DD

Back when adding the word “Limited” to the name actually meant limited production.

Previous Landrover Freelander owner here. I would say I did my due diligence before buying my Freelander. I read every article I could find on the European models. I read every piece of marketing on everything LR had done to better, improve, strengthen, and make more reliable the new to the US Freelander. I felt, I

Totally agree, I bought two bacl to back Nissan Frontier’s because I couldn’t bring myself to buy a Ridgeline and have to look at those stupid buttresses every day. I’m hoping they remove that in this version and take away my only real complain.
