BTW I love the line about "my accountant won't let me buy that." Like anybody's gonna believe that I've got an accountant. That's like saying "I can't go to that concert, I already gave my chauffer the day off and the Bentley is such a pain to park."

Jesus I can't stand people like that. Don't buy me lunch, I'm not a friggin' charity case!

I can "I can't afford that" to myself all day long. I'll eat beans and rice every day, buy all my shampoo and toiletries at the dollar store, I don't care.

Any fat-shaming gossip columnist who writes about X celebrity gaining weight/being a fattie/whatever should have to include an unedited, undoctored, recent picture of themselves, wearing nothing but grannie panties and a sports bra. I'll bet 99% of these haters don't look as good as GaGa does on a bad day. I know

Not to mention that BC pills can make your periods lighter. I used to have really painful, awful, week-long periods, now they are not a big deal at all. Really improved my quality of life. Even if the pill didn't do anything else I would take it just for that.

I've had to do the same thing with my phone. Way too many Steves out there.

Y'all have Stockholm syndrome. There's no excuse for this, from a top tech company, in 2012. If you're spending the kind of money the iPhone 5 costs you should be getting something that gets the job done.

I wanted one at age 22 and my obgyn wouldn't do it because reasons. Blah. Sucks because back then I had great insurance that would've covered it, if I did it today I'd have to front the whole cost myself.

But if you're short you have the option of taking stuff in. If you're tall? You can't make a 32" inseam pant a 36" inseam without tacking a bunch of extra fabric on the end, which will look really dumb.

Does anybody know any good seat cushion-type things or ways to make the seat more comfortable? I've found some good stuff for office chairs but I don't think it'll fit on a car seat. I love my car but I drive a lot and my seat gets pretty uncomfortable after 1+ hr.

I get zero, baby! I don't even get paid holidays...labor day, Columbus day, all that is to me is a week where I probably won't be able to make 40 hours. Christmas? Don't make me laugh. If you've got paid vacation USE IT, or I'll show up at your job and use it for you!

My partner's father got pancreatic cancer—thankfully they caught it early and he is now cancer-free and doing well. But it came on FAST and one of the side effects was that he lost a massive amount of weight in a short time because he couldn't keep food down.

I don't think there's anything wrong with these...I don't think they're perverted. But I wouldn't buy them for my own kid. She wants a leopard print bikini she can buy it for herself.

One thing that helped me with stress was not having a clock in my car. If I really need the time I can look at my phone, but not having a clock there, reminding me of how long I've been sitting at this friggin' red light...it has helped me to be a calmer driver.

I feel awful for all y'all who have been harassed like this and feel fortunate that nothing too shady has ever happened to me. People think "zomg if somebody touched me I'd totally karate chop their balls off" but get real 98% of people would freeze up if that situation happened to them. Most people are possums not

Hate to say it, and I'll probably never say this again, but: !!in some ways!! Mitt Romney is right. In the sense that everybody short of Bill Gates CALLS themselves middle class in this country. Check out this chart: http://economix.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/08/23/who-counts-as-middle-class/

I was going to post on 5links! One of my friends got into it and I actually went to her party for support.

Even putting aside the whack pay structure, the problem with pretty much all of these opportunities is the product itself. Why do people buy X product instead of Y product? X product either has to be better, cheaper, newer, easier to use, or otherwise different in a better way from Y product.

There really isn't any good way to estimate how many child prostitutes or victims of sex trafficking there are in the US (This paper sums up why: http://www.unh.edu/ccrc/prostitution/Juvenile_Prostitution_factsheet.pdf). It's like trying to figure out how many illegal immigrants came to the US this year or how many

The majority of prostitutes / sex workers are not like Robin. Robin had other options but chose to go into sex work because reasons. Most other sex workers aren't like that and this is a last resort for them.
