Honestly with the K20 Turbo from a civic type r it would be killer

I’m all in on a Fiero revival.

Quick note on the alternator bit: alternators convert rotating mechanical energy into electrical energy.

I should have known better when I saw a too good to be true price tag on a used Audi S5 with the 4.2L V8 and 6 speed manual with only 50k on the clock.

Literally any Uconnect unit. Maybe it’s because I have only ever rented Chrysler/FCA/Stellantis vehicles; but every time I have, I have spent 30+ minutes trying to get my phone connected to no avail. On the occasions that I could connect 0 features worked. Our 10 hour drive through Arizona and Nevada was spent

Not a 6AT vs 9AT issue. Seperate system that just so happened to coincide with the transition to the 9AT.

They wouldn’t be able to claim the MPG bump from it if it were able to be disabled from the factory.

This has been a known issue for a couple years at least. Battery charge calculations were partly to blame (see jump starting required). Without a doubt impacts all 3.5L 9AT vehicles, volume of sales just keeps them on the low.

Definitely not emissions. Its to meet mpg targets exclusively. If there is any emissions impact it is coincidental.

This technology isn’t new. It would essentially be the same thing that the US mandates for Diesel vehicles. While there is some maintenance required on a DPF system, and would be on the GPF, it is negligable. The vehicle runs “regens” every so often to clean the filter by burning off the particulate.

I would be all in on a suped up Honda Fit. Tiny wheel base, tiny wheels, tiny hatch back, throw in the equaly tiny 1.5L T from the Civic SI and a 6MT and you have yourself a cheap tiny rocket.

The Keystone-XL was less than 8% complete and would have carried oil that was unsuitable for use as gasoline... turn off the Fox “news” opinion shows and read something objective about the pipeline. On a larger note, no president has the ability to single handedly impact fuel prices. Bush didn’t towards the end of his

I used to die on the hill of “i’ll always have a truck for convenience”; but after leaving my old Colorado behind with the ‘rents to live out its final days on the farm in exchange for an impreza wagon, I haven’t looked back. Until I’m routinely hauling things, or have a career change requiring a truck, I won’t be

There is a reason for that, Honda and Toyota have been investing in American factories to assemble their vehicles, American companies to source their vehicle parts from, and Americans to design their vehicles. Doing so is part of their foundational company philosophy.

I was the proud owner of a 2004 Chevy Colorado 4WD. It was a great truck that took me all over the country.
