The teachers thing kills me. There's a law that requires teachers to report shit like this. My mind is blown by that.

This dude's recurring night terror:

With every post about a man looking for the perfect (AKA made up in their own mind) wife online or elsewhere, my views on marriage becomes more and more like this:

I would not date him in a box, I would not date him as a fox.

His past doesn't matter as much as your kids future does - his beliefs are wrong, frightening. and could give your kids serious issues as they grow up. You cant afford mediation right now but it kind of sounds like something you should save up for.

If he hasn't been to therapy, he should go. If I were in your position, I would talk to a family therapist myself to figure out how to approach him, and how to talk to the kids about what's going on.

It really sounds like he needs some counseling. I can't think of anything else, because it's something only he can help. Not being able to distinguish normal familial affection from sexual/romantic affection is a big concern.

I'm a Girl Scout troop leader. Just in Daisies alone (kindergarten and 1st grade) we are to discuss 4 major aspects of money. They also encourage doing bank tours, which we did and the girls loved, and the girl scouts are supposed to help with the money when it comes to cookie selling. They really do encourage girls

On the lighter side this made me laugh:

Is anyone else as baffled by this commenting system as I am? I cannot for the life of me figure it out. And it doesn't help that hardly anyone seems to be commenting on articles anymore. My favourite part of this website is gone! Argh! I never wanted to be one of those people complaining about new layouts and

Crushes are so normal, but I think the thing is not to fan the flames. If you are committed to your current relationship, then you're wasting energy that you could be investing in the relationship fantasizing about someone else. If what you have needs work or repair, that's where you have to focus. My thing is you

Does anyone have suggestions for dealing with crush-like feelings for someone that is not your significant other? Things have been lackluster in my relationship for a bit and I am kind of excited to be feeling things about another person...I don't ever plan on acting on these feelings, but it would be nice if they

Nope, you are not the only one. I love seeing bands live but I can't deal with thousands and thousands of people. Also something like Coachella, Electric Zoo, and giant music gatherings like this tend to bring out the douchebags by the thousands. I make my life's mission to interact with douchebags as little as

Oh Elizabeth, bless your heart. Mrs. Erg had three daughters, loves a good steak, and, in a moment of weakness, married yours truly. She's still looking mighty fine at 66. Unless I missed it there does seem to be one major omission from your list. Is there no laughter in your life? If so, then no matter how young

See that's the thing though. She's making a living out of being self absorbed whilst the rest of us idiots are just doing that shit for free.

I wish one did not have to be in a band to pull off this outfit. I want to wear shiny pants to my job.

You'd think, with just how much money these people spend on marketing, studies, focus groups and all that nonsense, someone along the line might have thought

I just feel hella irritated that I keep ending up in the grey zone, even though I was a long time commenter on the old system with a decent amount of respect. Took me a long time to build up credibility, but apparently that didn't carry over.

ALL GUN OWNERS ARE LIKE ADAM LANZA.

To this day, I've never understood the pre-pubescent gangbang in the book, IT.
