I was at that show, and I can at least confirm that by that point in the set, it was starting to rain (open-air stadium); eventually it started legitimately storming with pouring rain, lighting, and thunder. They kicked everyone out of the stadium, then let everyone back in and picked the concert back up an hour later…

When the GOP took the governorship and the General Assembly (NC’s state legislature) in 2012, it was breathtaking how many backwards laws they passed in the space of a year. I thought it was over (I live in the liberal island of Chapel Hill), that there wasn’t much more backwards shit they could pull, but I was wrong.
