I blame the animation software EA used not specific animators working at EA. They used a terrible semi-automated rigging system which is obviously the reason many of the animations look terrible. From what I gather Frostbyte is a buggy mess of stapled on systems on top of systems. If I was an animator though I would

I found out that it even works long into the past and can infer your location based on your location enabled logins. It knows where I travelled before I even had a cellphone. Crazy stuff. Also turning it off just hides everything you can just turn it back on and the history is all there again. I’m sure there is some

Yes that the correct operator.

I never really liked Bethesda games because I saw it as a lazy company that never displayed any programming ability. I tried Skyrim and new Fallouts but they were mostly a mess filled with flaws in AI pathfinding (suicidal NPCs that kill themselves out of sight), quest bugs (critical paths disappear), clipping bugs

It isn’t like all the other game released near the same time as ME:A where considered perfect they were just on average considered a lot better.

This kind of mindset is dumb and amounts to “Just ignore the flaws and everything is good”. It doesn’t matter if the story goes nowhere and now will never go anywhere, it doesn’t matter if the semi-automated animation system was garbage that they knowingly released, and it doesn’t matter the game is buggy enough to

Are you sure it isn’t just bad drivers being annoyed the car keeps telling them they are driving poorly.

You do understand that a game doesn’t need official mod support to have mods right. Banning people from GTA online is one thing but basically threatening to sue a mod developer is a completely other matter. Why not just disallow modded clients from going online or making consensus P2P checks for their online play to

The CD is an over reaction and a massive PR blunder. The basically told every single player user and modder that your mods and tools you use everyday could be sued into oblivion if they felt like it. Why buy games or mod for games when they hold a sword like that over your head. It is really dumb a better anti-cheat

Yeah believe them at face value the ones harming consumers and paying customers. OpenIV does not allow use in online multiplayer you would have to crack OpenIV to even do that. The main problem with their online system is it is a P2P based system that doesn’t do enough consensus checking to boot out cheaters.

Not “intending” is code for we didn’t actually care it was an unintentional side effect of basically killing all single player mods. I don’t understand who in PR thinks this is acceptable to respond to a rightfully angry mob.

Basically a canned response. Terrible PR.

Don’t buy smart smoke alarms just buy wireless talking smoke detectors. Also don’t buy combined smoke CO as the smoke detecting part lasts longer than CO modules which can expire before the 10 year mark depending on environmental conditions. If you really want to get remote notifications just use a wireless to wired

You shouldn’t have smoke detectors too close to your oven it will have tons of false alarms which is dangerous because you may learn to ignore them. A heat detector in the kitchen is a good substitute although not that these are not considered life safety devices as they may not respond fast enough in a real fire but

Even more so if it is a combined carbon monoxide and smoke detector. Most CO detectors use a wet electrochemical cell which can dry out over time they last ~7-10 years.

This is to ensure you don’t forget to replace the batteries they tend to last a lot longer.

You don’t have to replace them every year but make sure you test regularly. The main reason they say to replace every year is to ensure you don’t forget. I’ve had alarms last 4-5 years on a single 9V battery before they started chriping. Although I have found some dead ones that refuse to test even after replacing

I never understood it certainly seems like taking an engine like UE4 and modifying it suit your game works much better on average than trying to take an engine suited solely for one thing and trying to staple on everything on top of it. Heck didn’t Mass Effect games originally use UE3.

Given that was apparently the only part that worked it probably would have been much more polished if they just focused on SUPER-ACTION NEVER STOPS. Why not go in reverse and put the exploration in later when you can actually make it work.

Or just support GoG more as it is a DRM free store.
