Blowing up trees works very well. You just need to blow it up once to cause the tree to fall over and then another time to convert it into wood to pick up. (Just don’t bomb it three times as that would probably destroy the item or send it flying)

I dunno your first point is something upto the player I don’t save weapons for fear of them breaking I use them in the correct order to not waste weapons on fodder (bombs work great for that). Also the master sword doesn’t have the highest attack rating. Not even close. Also elemental weapons instantly kill opposing elements.

Not everything breaks in 5 uses and if you explore you can find much better weapons. It also gave me the incentive to do the raid the last dungeon’s basement really early on which was quite an adventure with great risk and great rewards.

Interesting bit is that you can also pick up missed arrows from enemies. (Upto a limit it seems) And they still usually drop arrows as well.
