Pretty irrelevant like, just got me curious

I thought so - I'm just wondering if Shayla knew she was his sister.

We didn't even suspect Darlene was anyone because the introduction of her played with our notion (because it so often happens) that every female character is a potential love interest, and she seemed to fit a familiar character trope, rebel spunky new girl.

I had only taken it as more she needed it to listen to the boring twat of a fella

If you were going to do it along the lines of keeping him around, it might be a better move, after they've stopped having fun with it, to just make it obvious he isn't real, with perhaps only Elliot holding onto the 'unambiguous' part. But then again, I'm not sure how they'd manage to keep his presence interesting.

I don't know why I read comments and reviews to find reasons to dislike episodes I really liked.

Amell's Oliver Queen would be on my "three list" so can't really blame her there. He's gorgeous.
