Please go back to Jezebel

Not meant to scream, the engine note was tuned to sound like the 18th Marquess of Winchester being rubbed with a warmed buttered chamois cloth.

In initial acceleration.

A loaded up Model X P90D is over $150K. That’s in a similar ballpark to the Bentley, because generally if you can afford a near $160k car it’s not a huge stretch to $220k.

Seriously what is the purpose of these TESLA videos? Everyone that knows cars already knows the benefit of of an electric motor’s massive torque and that will win in a short drag race sure. But take it to a track I am sure the Bent will edge it out after a lap. Same as on the highway, that Bent will go and maintain

BUT, the Bentley shames the Tesla in fit and finish. And doesn’t look like a van. So I would take the Bentley.

They had no choice but to respond when faced with a probing question hurled by a highly influential automotive journalist...

Sounds like a good reason to keep it. It's not like 1-3% like so many cars before the option is chopped.

I don’t know why I didn’t see this until now.

the worst part is waiting a month for a new one!

I think Top Gear would be fine, but Chris Evans has been a mistake since day one. The OG Trio have all been car guys, they were all journalists to some extent, and their work outside of TG is still on the journalism side.

Top Gear came outta nowhere. It started as an ineffectual nothing of a motoring show, grew up a bit, stumbled, found a format and eventually exploded like a mega bomb.

I appreciate tradition but some things should go the way of then dodo bird.

Just sayin’.

A Jeep will never really be fun to drive on a paved road. Now, it might be “fun” on a beach boulevard with the doors off, but the driving experience is not the fun part. I suspect your in-laws enjoyed the beach cruising aspect.

Bad visibility? In a Wrangler? That’s like saying it had a bad turning radius (in a two door). It just isn’t possible!

I’m not sure what you expected???

Bad visibility? Get ya eyes checked, Magoo.

Terrific article. I’m always fascinated by the nuts-and-bolts stuff of a production.
