I think GRRM told the showrunners the major plot points. GRRM has always said that he wants to have “Scouring of the Shire” sort of ending. After defeating the white walkers, maybe the plan was to always fight Cersei in the end.

I mean she glows, and shoots photon blasts. I just don’t see how that makes her more powerful than Thor. But I guess that will always be a problem in portraying superhumans. It is difficult to get a scale of strength you reach the upper tiers.

I actually liked the last season of top gear really much. The chemistry between LeBlanc and Harris was quite evident. And the Japan episode was was incredible.
