I personally love how these cars look, and was seriously considering picking one up a year ago. I just couldn’t find the right color/options with a stick for the right price. If it had the black interior, M Sport/Shadowline trim packages, and maybe nav, I’d see it going for $12,000. The beige interior, woodgrain trim,

Just go with the Mk1 TT. Yeah, it’s FWD biased, but they’re cheap as hell, nobody will mourn it when its fenders are cut up, and you can slap a Haldex controller on it that will activate close to maximum torque transfer in most situations. Definitely doable with $20k, and would probably look pretty badass too.

Commuting in a cheap, boring car during the work week and coming home to a Fun or Too-Much-Fun car on your weekend is the way to go, at least for me. I’m someone who will always want something at least a little unique though, and have been eyeing a Chevy Spark EV or Fiat 500 EV for my “boring” commuter. Do they stop

My Mk4 GTI has slide/fold-out cupholders, and the Euro versions even had them for the rear passengers! They’re good for small—no, very small beverages. The folding bases would also hit the buttons on the factory stereo over bumps in the road. Later Mk4s have an updated center console where the parking brake is angled

They should definitely bring out a lifted supercar/hypercar pack in Forza Horizon. The two kind of go hand-in-hand in those games.

Yeah, I definitely wiped a whole squad this way, totally by accident I might add. My random teammate was running from another squad, and I was chasing behind them. He jumped through a door, closed it, crouched on the other side, and while they were all scrambling to get the door open I emptied a Spitfire into them. I

I started out using Gibraltar, and quickly realized he moved slower than other characters and seemed to be a bigger target. Edit: I guess they all move at the same speed and this was just perceived. Oops. His arm shield is kind of helpful in a firefight, but that doesn’t really help when you’re getting shot in the ass

I haven’t used the mic with randoms since Halo 2, but Apex somehow changed that. I’m still selective, and will generally stick to pinging items and enemies with my mic off, but if the other 2 squad mates seem cool I’ll chime in. I’ll also say that the only times I’ve won a match have been when I use my mic, so it’s

Ford was genuinely starting to sway me from my VW hot hatch obsession. They had the balls to sell the Fiesta ST in the states when VW kept the Polo/Polo GTI out. The RS has an AWD system that I’d much rather have than the 90/10 torque split of the Golf R. And now, this new Focus ST seems like it’s going to be a FWD

I loved that game! I was bummed when it kind of fizzled out.

I didn’t even know they made a hybrid version, nice! This really would be the best option, honestly. My brother-in-law just picked up a regular Pacifica and it’s been fantastic so far.

I mean, architect, so Volvo is the answer, although I’d go with a new V60 wagon. Perfect for 2 kids plus loads of crap in the trunk, and 36 MPG highway. It’s definitely less obscene than an XC90, which is essentially the new Range Rover, at least in the Midwest. I see them so often that there really is a negative

I’m buying this regardless, but I need it to be co-op. Definitely keeping my eye out for any updates.

Shhhh you’ll drive the price up more, my brother has the copy we always played and I’m trying to find it used!

As someone who loves combustion engines and plans on picking up a true, analog sports car in the semi-near future, I agree with what she’s proposing. Gas engines need to be phased out of production (emphasis on PRODUCTION). I don’t see ICE vehicles already on our roads disappearing anytime soon, but I could definitely

Is it bad that I just wish they’d offer the 2-door GTI again?

I live in Omaha, and all I see around here are Teslas. I tend to see literal truckloads of them coming in off I-80 to be delivered when I’m getting off work. They’ve slowly been overtaking the other usual luxury brands I see on the road, although the German luxury brands and Land Rover/Jaguar still seem to be holding

Wow, I definitely forgot about this, thank you!

The earlier 1999 and 2000 S52 M Coupes with 240hp are going for bonkers money now too, only a few thousand dollars less than the holy grail S54 with similar miles. Even 2.8 and 3.0i Z3 Coupes are listed well above $15k. There’s actually a 3.0i on Autotrader for $7,800 right now that could become an S54-swapped M Coupe

The first time I was ever rear-ended, the other driver didn’t have plates. When I asked for her information, she gave me some bullshit about how her husband has her insurance information and gave me a bogus phone number. I stood in front of her car and called the cops (who told me they were too busy), at which point
