Sorry but the days when a "supercar" had 560 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque are long behind us. Unless it weighs half of a normal supercar because of a hollow diamond tube chassis, it's doomed.
Personally, I'd have preferred a simple dash/rear-bumper cam setup capturing the whole actual race, with minimal editing. Maybe the occasional picture-in-picture to show the pedal work or whatever.
If I were doing it, I would have just staged the chase shots before/after the fact.
