I don’t know that the Reeves movies are a “retelling” of the original as much as a prequel. This one looks like it might be more along the lines of the very first movie.

Haven’t read any of the books but Egwene and Perrin on the show are both awesome, and the rest of the Two Rivers crowd are just perpetually annoying.

Season 2 was way better than Season 1, and Season 1 was already better than the books (possible hot take). Most of the actors are growing quite well into their roles.

So this recap gets certain basic facts wrong (ie. Loki didn’t prune himself, at least not as far as we know, he was pruned by *someone* from behind just as he saw Sylvie. It’s possible it was future Loki but we don’t know that).

Anything with more Rockwell doing action is right up my alley.

While Transforming is great game, its presentation is not - especially for $80. Which may imply the publisher is willing to cut corners at some level.

Crossgen (and Malibu fwiw) will never see the light of day again, as both companies had contracts that the creators of the characters get paid for the characters any time they get published.
