Swinging the camera around is panning. Pulling the camera back is zooming out or “mooz” in TV parlance.

This can’t be right. Gub’ment Motors is the ONLY company that issues recalls. I smell conspiracy here...
...or, it’s a fictitious universe who’s rules are dictated by whomever is tasked with creating them.
CTS-V, then?
Cobalt SS (sedan, if you want a real sleeper). Not sure if the sedan came in a 5-speed, though. Faster than a Lotus Exige, Audi RS5, Corvette C5, NSX, and Porsche Boxter S around the ‘Ring and beat an Evo X around VIR! You can get a really nice one for 8-10K.
1995 Volvo 850 T5 R wagon (or estate, if you prefer), in yellow. I’ve always had a sweet spot for wagons and when I read about that car being the fastest production station wagon at the time, I HAD to have one. 20+ years later, I still don’t have one. I have a white 96 850 sedan, so at least I’m 1/5th of the way there!
I say Audi like “Aww-di”. I have ever since my sister-in-law worked for them and she told me that’s how she was taught to pronounce it. I think, though, Audi really wants you to pronounce it “Ow-di”.
I thought one pronounced it like it’s spelled: Jag-you-ar. I get shit about it, since most other Americans insist on saying it “Jagwar” or the above-mentioned “Jag-wire”. I draw the line at aluminium, though.
Ahh...now that I take off my idiot glasses and actually read what you wrote, I see that. Please accept my apologies for teh stupid.
A Chevy SS is $50 grand.
QOTD
Me, too. I have a former coworker with an A4 who does the same thing. What drives me nuts about Audis is that things like coil packs are super cheap, but windshield wipers are something like $80. Reminds me of my 92 Cavalier that was so cheap it only had one sprayer nozzle for the windshield fluid, but GM decided it…
At least the coil packs are only $25. Too bad you need to buy them by the case...
Especially when you can do this with it:
2K will get you a runner, but don’t expect it to run well or be a looker. Cash for clunkers and high scrap prices killed cheap ($500-1000) cars a few years back. You’re starting to see some decent, cheap beaters show back up, but the market has corrected.
If you play real fast and loose with what constitutes a “production” car, the 2008 Mustang Cobra Jet could hit 60 in 1.5 seconds. JS
My first thought was a Volvo of some type. But, you can’t get a manual and have a remote start. And he wants things like rear park assist, heated seats, a front camera (but no rear camera?) but no leather, or cruise (can you even get a modern car without cruise anymore?), no screens (how do you monitor the front…
Beat me to it.
You’re never going to convince a Michigan football slappy to let loose their death grip on history (even though most can’t name a coach before Bo Schembechler); It’s the only thing they have had to circle-jerk about for the last ten years.
