I can vouch for the Cherokee with that motor. I had a 2000 with 230K on the clock that I used to haul a 6X9' enclosed trailer across the state twice a month, in addition to being an almost daily driver. I never once worried about it, right up until I sold it for $2500. All praises to the 4.ever!

You’re right. I sit in neutral at a stop with my foot off the clutch, and if I can’t clutch and get it in to first within .000000001 seconds, some idiot behind me will inevitably lay on their horn like they passed out on it.

I use the crosswalk timer at a left turn I take on my way home every day. It’s great since it keeps me from getting stuck in the intersection when the left turn light turns red. I feel like it’s my own little secret.
