It’s easy to make comparisons like this, but there’s a very big difference between games from 1991 and games from 2015.

Not defending this at all, but several things make me think that it was just some poor judgment calls by a few Harmonix people.

This is a huge reason why I’m skeptical about getting the game. The servers WILL go down someday. Once this happens, the advertised hundreds of songs will shrink down to 44. Depending on how well the game does will decide if it’s sooner rather than later.

This is the on-disc setlist.

I can deal with the music, the content of the video is too interesting to let some bad tunes ruin it for me.

Wow, I really enjoyed this! Even better that this seems to be like it’s gonna be a weekly feature.

“I can love him” doesn’t have the same meaning as “I can’t not love him”. Double negatives aren’t necessarily improper.

Phoenix Wright is NEVER out of objections.

Yes, what they were doing is technically illegal. But we should be asking ourselves why is it legal for corporations to sue people (regular people, mind you, people who can’t afford to be sued) who were just trying to celebrate the fact that awesome (copyrighted) things exist. As it’s written right now, copyright

Nope.

Except it’s not. The pedestal isn’t the smash one.

IT’S REAL HOLY FUCK.

ETA: It is much more reasonable for some people to buy an adapter than being forced to buy a new set of instruments. Personally, I’m getting band bundle, but it’s really nice that Harmonix is giving people the option to use their old instruments.

Completely reasonable, as anyone buying just the standalone version would be planning on using their old instruments, and thus needing the adapter. Sucks that it’s needed, but Harmonix is basically creating backwards compatibility for older controllers, something that isn’t available natively on the Xbone.

Delay No. 9

It’s a reference to this.

You seem like a fun person.

I’m all for people making gameplay videos on YouTube, but something doesn’t seem right about doing them for a mostly story based game like Life Is Strange.
