Totally agree. Processor speed and screen keep advancing but battery capacity stays fairly flat. Yet, so many people care about battery life. I’d prefer a Note 5 but may lean towards G4 mainly because of the replaceable battery. I was excited about battery in S6 Active but only 32gb... hard to find that perfect phone.

Adam, would you be interested in covering a wireless charging suitcase we’re developing? We won’t pay you either :)

Qi is leading with devices and even with auto makers, PMA has some traction with Starbucks. A4WP backed by Intel has range going for it. Apple could probably pull off a proprietary standard which would become the standard. I suspect wireless charging will waterfall to iphone, ipad, new accessories and even keyboards

Your magsafe is still using metal on metal contacts to connect. The magnet just helps you align it to the connection. Induction charging actually has a range of several millimeters and no direct metal connections. For instance, with Qi, there are some cars with charging consoles and you can just place your device on

Actually, it is wireless as there are no direct wired contact connections. Just like a wireless router is plugged into a wall to get power, this is similar. Granted the range is only millimeters but the fact you don't need wires to touch (i.e. lightning, usb, etc.) makes this wireless. No mention of waterproofing but
