I read Georgiou’s weird sexual posturing as an attempt to stir some jealousy in Stamets and Culber to ultimately get them back together. I’m not really basing this on anything, except that she clearly loves to mess with people and that she cares more than she lets on.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention that slide whistle ending that we were treated to. I was so pissed that this week’s big reveal was Asher eating Connor’s mom in the parking lot at his wedding. Was it supposed to be funny? What s bizarre tonal shift in this season’s first good episode.

So... can we have him back on Star Trek? We need him.

What makes you think that we would have found the glitches in the short time we’ve been on Earth? There is more to be seen than can ever be seen. More to do than can ever be done.

I’m surprised to see such a positive take on this episode! My group was all kind of surprised to see something so disjointed after a super slick pilot. I thought this was going to be Star Trek’s assertion that the alien of the week episode isn’t dead, but that plot wrapped up abruptly at the end of the third act.

I’m so glad it wasn’t just me! I remember thinking “whatever she’s doing with all these young guys must be really bad if they have to cut around it for the trailer”

Actually, speaking of that sun ghost thing, did anybody else think it was weird that Ted Cruz broke down in tears and cried “brother” in a really deep voice when that happened?

I didn’t know what to think before, but I really don’t care for him now that he’s possessed by that evil ghost that lived in the eclipse
