What's wrong with fucking A's?
What's wrong with fucking A's?
Yay Fringe!
shut up
The plan all along was for Leslie to have an abortion in the season finale. Guess they scrapped it for a time jump.
I love Timothy Dalton. I think he was the third-best Bond behind Connery and Craig.
I loved this episode. And I love AV Club reviews. But these dual-reviews … they're awkward. The forced transitions between each person's part of the review is so corny. "Gee, partner, what say you?" Also, I could've done without the Intro to Film portion on the symbolism of that conference call. Yuck.
"Good" is relative when you're talking CBS comedies.
You aren't missing much. I had to stop watching after a couple seasons — I just found it obnoxious. I guess it's better than Two And A Half Men and Big Bang Theory, though, but so is AIDS.
"I'm so glad I bailed at episode (insert early season episode number here)!" said every boring person who cannot think for themselves. Congrats, I suppose. Meanwhile, I've been enjoying Helix, and while I was disappointed with the finale, I can't for the life of me figure out how it was an F.
I can actually see where he's coming from. I watch shows like Helix for the crazy shit. (Matter of fact, that's one of my complaints with Lost. The character flashbacks were far less interesting than the fact that THEY WERE ON AN ISLAND WHERE CRAZY SHIT HAPPENS.) I'll watch Mad Men or whatever for the character drama.
An F is a bit ridiculous. Like, real ridiculous. An F is deserved for the finales of shit like Dexter and House. This wasn't nearly as egregious.
I have a ton of respect for the people still watching this show. I got sick of its shtick, and even worse, its gimmick, after like two seasons.
So are you guys not reviewing Cosmos anymore? That makes me sad because I love this show.
Billy Campbell is the lead? Huh.
If you really want to hate-watch something, watch The Newsroom. At least Helix isn't as pretentious.
I'll never forgive this show for its shitty final season and shitty series finale. First few seasons were great, though.
I like how Kennex and Dorian bounce off one-another. I like the visuals. But something about this show just doesn't strike me the way I hoped it would. I don't really feel any connection to the characters except for Dorian.
Why wouldn't it be? It's the same genre by the same showrunner by the same production house on the same network. It may not be totally fair but it's not unreasonable.
I think Fox just ordered 13 episodes and never decided to order more. Possibly why this only felt like a half-hearted season finale.
Doesn't The Blacklist get really good ratings though?
