The Big dig was the most professional operation I’ve even heard of. The profession might have been graft not construction but it is still a masterclass in graft. I mean sure it took forever to build but think of the pockets that got lined.

That front end does not look like I though it would. I don’t like it, but it is unique.
I’ve found Hyundai’s designs to be pretty good recently, but the new Elantra and Sonata are a no from me. The Sonata in particular looks “melted”.
I agree Hyundai’s new design “language” isn't doing anything for me, especially in the front end department. Wow, quite terrible really.
I’ll answer for OP, nah. This thing is awful.
I still don’t think it will be much of contest. The Honda, by virtue of reputation and longtime skin in this game, will not depreciate as fast. Were I buying new, I would go for the Honda every time just on that point.
I absolutely LOATHE Hyundai’s new corporate grille. It works okay on the crossovers, but the Sonata and Elantra are heinous looking.
Not with that face.
I absolutely love the path Hyundai is taking right now with their performance line of cars. They’re great value for the amount of driver joy and involvement they provide. And they are making huge strides in quality and name recognition. There’s no doubt that these vehicles existing is good for car culture.
How long have you been here? Jeeps breaking down is like half the posts on this site.
I haven’t had any issues with our Sportwagen and was (mildly) surprised to see them at the bottom of the list. But if you dive in, the Golf does score very well, in line with my experience. The other models are driving them down.
That is the issue with Consumer Reports and JD Powah. They do not effectively weight the severity of the issue when they come up with these reliability rankings.
When I see Lincoln dead last, all I can think of is that HORRIBLE launch of the Explorer and Aviator. The stories my friends were telling me about those early builds were... bad. Roush had to retrofit so many of them, it was insane! Hopefully they sorted most of those issues for the future models...
