it’s a small number compared to the previous gen, when the previous gen had something close to 200 million+ consoles in the wild vs approx. 15-20 million consoles that’s a much smaller market share. generally launch titles usually don’t make their costs back and are a loss in the hope that driving more customers will…
we are short staffed and have even more people leaving to a degree that covering the news surrounding all aspects of this is taking every resource. i am having convos with folks as we go but at the moment the plan is to continue covering relevant news with the appropriate context and tone, should it be newsworthy.…
How shall I put this...
Is Konami in some sort of ‘Brewsters Millions’ situation ? Where they need to lose all their money by a certain date??
Good article. The whole “Do we play as a pirate or do we play as a boat” line of questioning made me chuckle. Perfectly reasonable question for a game like this, it’s just very funny.
There’s a six year old vying for your attention and you’re trying to work. It’s the worst fucking feeling in the world to have to ignore your child to perform capitalism, but most of us have to do that. His job just happens to involve playing video games.
I mean… yeah, dude. The author got mega harassed by jerks on the internet and so he used his platform to write an article defending his views and commending a big publisher for supporting his inclusive views. There’s a big difference between writing something on the internet to stroke your own ego versus standing up…

Thanks for clearing that up. I though he actually had super powers.
Well lucky for you, it appears Nintendo agrees with you that this sucks and added the Ethernet port by removing one of the USB ports.
If you’re not a cop, or dont know people that are, youre out of your depth and talking out of your ass. It’s as simple as that.
So what is the kind that does solve...something?
OK, if I have any rationale beyond it working as a pun, it’s that we should all buy some indie games as penance for our AAA ways.
Mike, you are burying the lede here. HORSE ARMOR!
Because they don’t want to wait a year or two, obviously.
I think deals like this are considerably less stressful on gamers though. Housemarque (and Bluepoint) have a long history of making only PlayStation-exclusives, so Xbox gamers aren’t really being denied anything. Bethesda, id, Arkane etc were full third party, with multiple series for most platforms.
