Are you fucking kidding.
Are you fucking kidding.
Except that hardcore gamers are more likely to pay extra for a wired controller to reduce input lag, so I doubt they would put up with streaming games.
Idris Elba has the voice for it, but Jack Black is going to carry this movie, so I’m glad that’s who we got.
Hasn’t it always been isekai?
“Game of the Year Nominee Edition” was unnecessarily (and unflatteringly) precise.
The other thing they could do is reduce the price of a booth by 75%, allowing more indie developers to have a presence. Last E3, a 10x20 (smallest) booth cost $10k for the space, not including electricity, drayage, or any other amenities. That’s more than double the price of any PAX or any other comparable fan-centric…
This is exactly what I was thinking. His schtick is what makes this hard to swallow, since if you don’t pay attention you will miss his sincerity and broad view of the gaming industry. I also have to assume he didn’t wake up yesterday and think “what should tomorrow’s video be about” and come up with this. I strongly…
:mindblown:
Zack, I’m totally with you, I wish the modern story was given more attention and had a more clear arc that actually progressed between games. Unfortunately, with each development team putting a different focus on the modern day, it simply never got the continuity it deserved.
It looks like 20% of PSN players completed Valhalla (the main game), based on the trophy rates. I don’t know how accurate that is, I still occasionally try to make progress in Valhalla, but it’s just so much.
On the one hand I understand that genetic memory being less scientifically believable than time travel isn’t exactly a logical response on your part, but still if it makes you feel better there is at least some basis for it: https://cordis.europa.eu/article/id/122740-dna-can-carry-memories-of-traumatic-stress-down-the-…
Yeah, I’m in not way defending Sony, they don’t need my help, not least because the console won’t stop selling one way or the other. It could be corporate greed, it could be a combination of that and a tactic to decrease demand so that they can catch up with supply and then put them on sale for next holiday season.
If you shift something to a third-party, you still have to pay for it.
Also, if changes save $1 per model, that would have almost no effect on whatever it was that caused them to increase the price by ~$50.
Lastly, there may be less material in this PS5 model, but that doesn’t mean it is cheaper than it originally was…
For the record, Ghost is an amazing game, and has a variety of difficulty options that allow you to tune it to your taste. If you want “an easy game with good visuals and a good (passable at least?) story set in feudal Japan,” you need look no further.
Meanwhile Lethal difficulty in Ghost was perfect for me, I love perfectly timing blocks and dodges, I love risk in my combat, but I hate whaling on an enemy repeatedly to take them down. So Lethal felt more realistic, more cinematic and just generally ticked all the boxes for me. If the new Jedi game adds a…
This list of ‘freebies’ isn’t worse than it was in the past. There have been Need for Speed games before, and they are IMO perfect for it, since I like them but don’t usually buy them. But YMMV, as always.
Hey, it worked for that Conan game.
As far as I’m aware, it was announced before Steel Rising even, but yes it does seem inconvenient to have 2 steampunk Paris soulslikes in parallel development. Especially since this looks way more polished than SR
When they have only one thing that consistently works, what choice do they really have?
Ghost of Tsushima is also perfect in a single player format, but Legends mode is also sick. I love to coop 2-player missions, and the horde mode stuff too.
