Agreed, I didn’t want to wait, but I will buy it as soon as it is available on Switch (which seems pretty likely given Cuphead, etc)

The thesis of my comment was that there are lots of factors that affect game sales, so your original metric may not be accurate. I don’t feel the need to write an essay explaining how I thought of every possible other factor that would make the comparison faulty.
If people don’t want to buy a specific exclusive game,…
The Last of Us 2 was the fastest selling PS4 game, topping 4m in its first month. By that time, Sony had sold 112m PS4 consoles. I don’t think your metric is an accurate one.
I found a 42" (I think) 4k60 HDR around last black friday for a decent price, but now that I know better I would like VRR, 120 and HMDI 2.1. Alas, it’ll be a while before I will feel justified upgrading again..
Why has the median size become ~50something. Just because I don’t have a large space to put it, doesn’t mean…
There are not 9 million consoles sitting in some scalper’s basement. I think seeing the numbers would be interesting for sure, but I highly doubt that even 1 million were scalped. I could be wrong of course, but that’s just such a huge number that it doesn’t seem feasible.
Or even better since it was never supposed to be single player, make a bigger, third person, non-cartoony Sea of Thieves.
I find it hard to believe that you didn’t intentionally miss the point there.
I completely agree with you. I really do.
I also believe that trust works best when it goes in two directions. Cops tend to be idiots that sit in an echo chamber and an us vs them mindset, so sending them out to interact with the community in positive ways is definitely not a bad thing.
I’m very much in the camp of ‘stop police brutality’, which mean’s I’m in the camp of ‘more community outreach programs’. So my gut reaction to this is that it’s money better spent than if it were for more riot gear.
To be clear, I am not actually mad about having to spend $30 on the expansion and enhanced features. I loved this game, got a lot of mileage out of the multiplayer mode, really do not regret buying it on day 1, and will gladly shell out for more content.
Right, so I can spend $90 on a version of the game that someone who waited will spend $70 on. Because I was excited enough about the game to buy it at launch?
I understand things go on sale, and I don’t have a problem buying something that later goes on sale, but these are the retail prices I’m talking about, so it’s…
I only got my PS5 because it was locked behind a gamefly subscription.
I have saved myself so much money playing games I was interested in but not sure about buying. I think the 9 month included subscription was paid off in 2 months.
Right there with you, I hear Gondor is pretty this time of year.
It seems better, but also they’ve added significantly more technology modules you can add to your suit that make even the worst planets bearable. Is your base on a cool-looking arctic planet with massive blizzards? Get a bunch of S-class cold protection modules and set up shop.
There are primer goals, there is a narrative thread, all added post-launch, but they exist now. And even better there are expeditions now with explicit goals that net you a fancy reward that can be accessed in any save file. These things have been added to the game, so if you still don’t like it, that’s fine, you can…
I bought it at launch and put about 60 hours into my first save. I’ve dabbled with it a few times since then, but when Expeditions launched i put 25 hours into the first one, and another 6 into the second one. The second one was the perfect length for me; a nice sort of bite sized set of goals with a few amenities…
Looks great, especially the outfit materials. Character faces are a bit strange looking, but I can get over that.
I’ll take a good netflix series, or a great game. The show would have to be better than Shadow and Bone is so far though..
I didn’t know that, and I appreciate the clarification. I think my statement still stands. Put people on the project who actually love Sonic and who know what makes a good Sonic game, and who are good at animating Sonic in a way that captures the character and is still easy to read while giving the appropriate sense…
If they did a Sonic Mania 3D, where they hired fans to create an actually good 3D Sonic game, I would die.
