This movie is like Robot Jox for me. Loved it as kid because I was too dumb to understand how bad it is, and love it now as an adult because of how bad it is.

This game has absolutely no business being as fun as it is...

I felt the last line was particularly important, because I’m pretty confident we’re not at that point. Yes, UFC is violent and may be perplexing to some as to why it is entertaining, but I feel the sport and its fans haven’t lost its/their humanity. Take the more recent case of Anderson Silva breaking his leg in half…
