I think it would be fair if they imposed quotas on the number of women in top positions in the government and the military so that they make up 50% of decision makers.

I wonder if those same novels/stories/fairy tales/(later) movies have an effect on “mate preference”. Especially in women, since girls are bombarded with romantic stories from practically birth.
