But that brings up a good analogy- If you had never seen cartoons before, could you easily tell the difference between adult cartoons like South Park, The Simpsons, or Family Guy, and kid’s cartoons? Probably not. Anime isn’t so cut and dry…

It’s like this: movies and porn movies are both movies but you don’t judge one based on the other. It’s the same with anime- there’s the normal kind and the dirty kind, but the dirty kind is what damages the reputation to people who don’t know anything about it.

Nah, it’s just that the series, Sword Art, is well loved by many people and extremely hated by a much more vocal group of people so the community is pretty polarized and conversation almost always devolves into an argument any time it’s brought up.

This basically uses a simple boost circuit to raise voltage at the expense of current. Many devices have this built in. However, the reason many don’t is thus: Alkaline batteries tend to leak when they are discharged too much. And a ruined product from battery acid is never worth the extra run-time.
