I agree - Geany is my default text editor. I use Eclipse for Java and RubyMine for Ruby/Rails.

Ah - interesting. On the ipad with Kobo, opening from Dropbox in Kobo transfers it to my Kobo library. Oh well. Good luck!

I was assuming Dropbox on the Nook would offer an "open with Nook" option. I wasn't suggesting you install Kobo.

Not sure if you can do something similar on the Nook, but maybe you can... I use the Kobo app for ebooks on my iPad. I put non-DRM epub files into Dropbox then I open the Dropbox app on my ipad, navigate to the ebooks folder and click the new ebook(s) - it loads it, says it doesn't know how to display it, then offers…
Was this in Raleigh, NC? Cause something very similar happened when I was there. Sounds almost exactly like your described scenario.
Yep - that's a big difference too that wasn't mentioned. I'll stick with Dropbox and Box. No linux means no me.
They did - they posted how putting your phone in an empty glass boosted the volume for music, etc.. This post just says you can use it to your advantage for alarms.
