Its really more a matter of designers who don’t think TVs should be in the main family room so they don’t put a logical spot for one. But people want a TV in every room so they jam as large a TV as they can fit in between the mantle and ceiling and it looks like shit.

Some people literally don’t know any better.

They can be uncomfortable even and not realize what the issue is.

It’s like how people don’t know what they want until you tell them.

As to your 17" I’d say at least upgrade to a 24"

Or a 32" tv could be had for around $100 if you look on ebay.

I would recommend Vizio brand,

I know it probably seems like a logical place, design-wise.

I never really did understand that. I know it probably seems like a logical place, design-wise. But I never liked going to friends places and craning my head back to watch tv.

Nah, Tesla forums are full of stories of Tesla taking care of their customers.

That is a Hybrid, that isn’t the same at all. I would be more disappointed if it couldn’t hit 300k miles. Also the Volt isn’t a good car whereas the Model S is a good car. If you bought a Volt it just means you didn’t know what a Prius was.

15K miles? Do you do track day driving every day? I used to do 400 miles/day with my TDI 5 days a week and racked up 100K miles per year of the same kind of mainly highway driving as this Tesla did, and my tires (Yokohama YK420 or 520s I think) used to last me over 50K miles.

Technically, it’s still under warranty. This is straight from Tesla’s website:

I’ve had parts replaced free on out-of-warranty cars that I’ve owned. It usually happens when I contact the OEM directly and provide information of the failed part. Probably because of my proximity to these OEMs, they tend to provide the replacement part (reimbursement) in exchange for the old part if they decide they

Also all the free high mileage test data they receive.

The motion sensor happens on a dedicated chip, and consumes far less power than a screen or CCD.

Unless they use the exact same technology, saying that Apple’s face recognition is bad idea because Samsung’s is bad, is like saying a Ford pickup truck is bad because a Toyota pickup truck is bad.

A few things:

Following too closely creates traffic congestion. You are the problem.

This happens on the Highway too much, I sound like I have the cussing version of tourettes in my car. Always a long line on the left lane I’m in passing a truck on the right and a slow ass car in front lets 1 or even 2 people swoop in, if there is any potential for cutting I speed up and let those idiots know to get

Sad state we are in today that just as a complete knee jerk reaction, you would automatically label this generic person asking permission for a favor.... as “privileged”. Sad, but more importantly, pathetic.

The morning queue at your local Starbucks is much lower stakes

Line cutting was how people made everyone hate them before social media.

It’s natural to resist change but keep in mind this dash and car has been simplified. Everything is controlled through that revolutionary screen. Updates too.

I liked this tweet.
