one of my favourite signs today was just south of Dundas and held by a man standing on the sidelines. it said in huge letters: PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I CAN DO TO HELP. My girlfriend and I just squeezed each others hands and talked about how nice it was to see the allyship.

I rallied and marched in Toronto today. There were about 60,000 people. It looked like almost half of the attendees were men - groups of men, men with the women in their lives, single men who brought their children, large extended families that included children, dads, and grandfathers. It was so diverse in every way…

Schadenfreude is almost definitely literally the only thing keeping me from crying right now. I look forward to all of the buyer’s remorse we are about to see. I don’t think they realize that sticking it to the left is going to mean they’re fucking themselves over at the same time.
