Why did they skip the “Beat her with a stick” part of the routine?

Are the Bills looking for cheerleaders?

And THAT’s why this fat chick was on the bottom holding brittle bitches up.

CineFix is an easy place to get lost.

C’mon, these are small potatoes, the master is Hitchcock. Also, Scorsese’s tracking shots are legendary.

That’s the problem. He over uses everything. Explosions, spinning cameras, slow motion...Bay has no restraint.

Antonioni master of the distracted cinema. The perfect description.

Pitt was like a rattlesnake. Hypnotic and deadly. And Affleck as his ‘ number one fan’. Amazing performances.

It’s one of my favorite movies that I always watch every winter. The soundtrack, cinematography, as well as Affleck’s and Pitt’s performances are all amazing.

I really like this movie (eta: Assassination of Jesse James) and have seen it a lot. Just this past weekend it was on one of the movie channels and I ended watching from the train robbery on. The cinematography, the acting, the weird tension in each scene- I just love it and thought it never get the attention it

I’ll see your ‘convo’ shot, and raise you a ‘when father and son are increasing weights to lift’ and sweeten the pot with the newspaper sweep/shot telling the son he was right.

No snark to add here, I really love these looks at the aspects of movie making.

I just rematch Unbreakable and that movie had some masterful shots. My favorite is when Elijah is talking with David’s wife in one unbroken shot. It was subtle, yet beautiful. Instead of doing a boring shot-reverse-shot, M. Knight did something great with that scene!

Its kinda goofy, but Michael Bays ‘Circlular’ camera movement was pretty awesome.... At least the first time.

I really liked the Assassination of Jesse James. As slow as it was, Pitt and ‘Punch-buggy’ Affleck were great and the story was sort of peaceful and melodic. The length and pace makes it something you can’t really watch over and over, on the other hand something long like LoTR is, it was a great movie and visually

I think flying a A-320 into the 40th floor of FOX Plaza would help, then maybe pissing on Ayn Rand’s grave*.

I think the important thing to point out regarding a dumbing down of generations is that Donald Trump is primarily the result of older generations, not the young adults that grew up with B&B (a great satire) and Dumb and Dumber.

Remember The Three Stooges? Now there was some intelligent entertainment.
