Great, now my Taco Bell order costs $50 and I just don’t order it, leaving the driver with $0 instead of the $5 they could’ve had.

$10k in student loans isn’t a “crisis” or hardship.  People borrow 3x that to buy a car, or rack up more than that on credit cards buying a TV.  You could work minimum wage for 9 months and have it paid off.  Or, under a normal repayment schedule, you’d need to find about $100/month, or the price of cable.

People need to stop borrowing in excess for the “college experience”. Go to a community college for 2 years then an instate school that’s reasonable. The entire federal loan program needs to be scrapped. College tuition is rising because there’s many people that pay these ridiculous rates. Colleges raise tuition…

Something does need to be done- but free forgiveness for those who made poor choices is not the answer.

I thought about it and realized the reason why they had the Dothraki die in the night was not only to make the dead army seem invincible, but also to save money on the FX budget.
