Kyle Larson is pretty much living proof. I think we have a winner!

The best thing about "How It's Made" is the US narrator, Brooks T. Moore. They tried to replace him around 2008 and got crushed. Also, the opening theme... Dazmo Musique, oui?
Remember the rebellion when Brooks T. Moore was replaced by some wimp.
Damn straight.
If you do Atkins or anything keto, radishes are your salad friend because they are not bland. Never thought of letting them lead, including the greens which are related to the mustard family. (The powdered milk adds only about a carb.)
I look at it this way. I got very little quality time with my son during the week (work, commute, etc.) Damned if I was going to impact it over asparagus. We ended up running a reverse when it came to veggie pickiness-- fruits. My wife likes bananas, pears, berries and I am a citrus/apple guy. Easy to share and…
An important reminder that this site is more about trivial matters than food.
Thanks, Tap. I am on board with your positive negativity. Great avatar, BTW.
I patronize three stores generally. My favorite doesn’t have self-checkout. Outta there. My least favorite has six separate lanes (i.e., not a bullpen or double-stacked.) If I get there right at opening, I can be in and out in 20 minutes for a decent shop.
100% behind that. No way in (insert series of bleeps) will I go into Walmart until this is long over. Hang in there.
Agree totally. Canned or pickled beets also gives you chromatic effect!
No guarantees there. It was not until we had a child that I learned my spouse was a Disney addict. My son outgrew it before she did.
For those who are familiar with the ‘bou, there certainly wouldn’t be any misinterpretation. The larger issue is the need to be Starbucks cutesy at all. Perhaps the passive-aggressive Minnesota nice DNA finally manifested itself.
Admission of partial guilt. Between big hands and a frustration with never getting cutlery really clean, I gave in and bought industrial-strength plastic cutlery. I do everything else by hand, but not having to deal with slippery spotty stainless steel has eased the burden considerably. As some small defense, I often…
Surely the dough hasn’t been made in house over the past several years? It’s truly a half step above cardboard. Contrary to Allison’s assertion, there are a number of not-expensive frozen supermarket pizzas I would eat first.
Eggs are no surprise; if you like ‘em, you buy ‘em. I did manage to get medium sized, which I rarely see, for $1.29/dozen last week. The not-major surprise is definitely meat. There are no sales to be had on chicken/pork/beef. An interesting omission from the list are frozen vegetables, not including potato products.…
My mother grew up in rural Michigan. I mean "rural," as in the part that pokes into Lake Superior. Quote: "There's a reason it grows best near the outhouse."
No kidding. It should be $10 for one hour, $5 for two.
The car he drove to the restaurant and was abandoned was a green 1974 Pontiac Grand Ville, which was a short-lived model. It only had a five-year production run and was meant to match the Buick Electra 225 as a rung below the Cadillac De Ville.
Drew Magary made a similar point in that it doesn’t make sense to replicate meat dishes. His only exception was the Impossible Burger as he thought it tastes good. There are simply too many good vegan dishes that allow you to explore cuisines and flavors. And you wanna cheat? I submit Gordon Biersch style garlic…
