I have no such problems at all, and our next public event will be in May.. I will resurrect the DNA that I extracted from peace of old bone of a Saint Macharius .. Real bones with provenance and seal of Vatican on it. Of course, I amplified that DNA .. but it is still fine , even partially degraded.. I wonder…

I like that article , nice example of how to make news from nothing. They did not discover anything new , just spend government grant money on new genome sequencing project that has no value in practice. Look at my invention in similar area ;-)) Much more practical and easy to DIY.
