Mine is pretty basic, I suppose: headache medicine. I was moving into my first college apt, and realized I needed Excedrin. I went with my sisters (who were helping me get settled) to the store where I had to buy headache medicine for the first time, ever. It was always just...around.

Yes, let me clarify by saying that we do not NOT get into disagreements in front of our kids. We just don’t get into disagreements if doing so would undermine the other’s parenting credibility.

I’m totally going to be that parent on parenting blogs...but...do you have kids?

Trust me, you’ve already established that you’re at least jerk-adjacent.

I understand that being drunk means less control of one’s faculties and lowered inhibitions. However, not all drunkenness leads to complete loss of self-regulation.

Is this what you want to do? Give me scenarios? Or, do you want to try and wrap your head around the idea that it is probably better that we (mainly men) all err on the side of extreme caution in these settings? Realize that it is better to just not have sex at all than to put someone in a compromising, hazy…

At the end of the day, isn’t it better to just assume this, than not? Like, what’s it hurting a man if he stops trying to engage in sex with a drunk girl? He doesn’t have sex? Is that the worst thing in the world?
