I was there about 10 years ago. We were all equipped with radiation monitors and the radiation was less than in an airplane, even 100 meters from the reactor. I even ate a meal in the old canteen. For people who like abandoned places, Pripyat is really amazing.

I spent most of my time in Chicago in Old Town. The Ale House is my go-to spot (be sure to pick up one of the owner’s books, they are a great read) and the characters in that bar are one-of-a-kind. Comedy Clubs galore and Alinea in close by too.
Yeah, the burrito used to work with Katerchen. Nori, however, is vicious as fuck. Even with a bladder infection she would claw and hiss her way out of her carrier.
