June was wearing a fetal heart monitor.
June was wearing a fetal heart monitor.
I do remember some weird TLC shows involving people who were very “We’re not going to kiss until we’re at the alter” and it was about as uncomfortable to watch as you’d imagine so I suppose some of those people exist now let alone in Gilead.
Got it — yeah, the only thing I could think of was that she was from the kind of sheltered, evangelical upbringing that helped get Gilead jump-started in the first place. After all, they have to get their “pure” women from somewhere!
NAME HER
I agree and Asia’s conversation really helped with that. I think what made it hard to watch for me was that either from reality or the virtue of the edit, we saw Eureka do very, very little to her. One comment in an Untucked and seemingly just being loud in a challenge. So it was hard to understand why she latched on…
My problem with Todrick is that he never seems to give any real direction to the girls (unless we just don’t see that). Alyssa gave actual examples of what she wanted to see from the queens, whereas Todrick throws around pretty vague concepts of what he’s expecting.
He always comes across as overly harsh, almost as if he’s trying to psyche the queens out.
It takes a really bitter person to say that Asia’s sit-down with The Vixen was anything but congenial. As was her helping literally every queen with outfits in prior weeks.
I just saw Todrick live this weekend, so I was happy to see him back... until he just went in on all of them. Alyssa was a ray of constructive sunshine compared to him. It makes me wonder if he’s just like that or if he starts out nice and they just edit it down to his frustrations. Either way, I’d rather have Alyssa…
if asia was to win miss congeniality, she would definitely be a worthy successor to the previous season’s winner, valentina.
Your tone seems very pointed right now
“Touch this fin, darling. Touch this fin, honey. Touch all of this fin.”
I don’t get the “Eureka is always up in your face” thing. I’ve heard it a lot. I admit early on all the “I can’t get over my injury” stuff wore on me, but other than Vixen constantly saying that she’s loud and sucks all the air out of the room over the last several episodes that hasn’t actually been the edit? Again,…
Following her on instagram is a decision you will NOT regret. Half of her posts are just her telling dad jokes to whoever’s around, then laughing to herself. It’s adorable as hell.
The Vixen always has time for a fight!
The choice of Blue Ivy was a woefully bad one and anyone with any sense would have know it but the Vixen may be the least self aware contestant on this season of Drag Race. She thinks all her decisions, performances, statements and looks are amazing and never allows even a scintilla of introspection or doubt to creep…
I also never want her to leave because she makes Untucked explosive.
Not even just chatting, walking around doing nothing... The Vixen ( whom i do not like ) had time to look up the words AND be in a fight.
As Cracker has pointed out, Kameron is still playing at the “don’t-give-the-editors-anything-to-work-with” game, and playing it exceptionally well.
The Vixen is really breaking my heart this season. She has talked about being the political queen but we have gotten very little of that in the challenges or on the runway. It could be so different but instead she seems not on the same level as some of the other queens.
