I received a misdelivered package some months ago. I was intrigued, and opened it, as it was addressed to me. But inside, the invoice was clearly made out to someone else, and it was CPAP parts, nothing fun. The guy’s number was on the invoice, so I considered calling him directly and letting him know, but ultimately

I explicitly use podcasts for doing things that are tedious or mechanical. It’s not that I save podcasts for cooking and cleaning, but when it’s time to cook or clean, I’m finding an episode to fire up.

Yes! A rinse aid in your dishwasher really really helps cut down on it (I had to get one recently because my glasses were getting really bad), but it won’t get rid of what’s already there. I soaked all my glasses with paper towels soaked in vinegar and they’re all totally transparent again, and the rinse aid has kept

This looks delicious. I wonder how it’d fare in a crock pot ...

It’s not economical, but my mom gifted me one a few years ago, and it’s nice for growing herbs over the winter.

I can’t google anything about this machine/growing my own seeds in it (I have one) without endless weed talk. It’s ridiculous. I guess everybody and their mother grows pot in one of these, whether it’s a good fit or not haha

Oh my god. Claire, you’re going to make me buy a sous vide -er. I want to go to there.

Omg what a great date night activity!

Man, I’d love Kindle bucks for no-rush. They always want to offer me Pantry bucks though, and I almost never use Pantry. I absorb Kindle books like nobody’s business though.

I’m a heathen. I have used an empty olive oil bottle for this before, but mostly I just use the bottom of a saucepan.

Toss some vinegar in the wash with ‘em, it’s pretty good at nuking old stink and it’s not hard on clothes.

Antibacterial agents and antibiotics can be resisted because they are targeted. The alcohol in hand sanitizer breaks down the proteins that make up bacteria, which isn’t something they can develop resistance to. We had hand soaps and stuff for ages with triclosan in it, and that WAS breeding superbugs, but

I really want a pretzel dog now and it’s your fault, Claire.

Silkies are awesome birds!!! I used to volunteer at a zoo when I was in high school, and they kept a few silkies around because they have a very strong mothering instinct and can be easily used to foster abandoned eggs. But I also sat through more than one training session with a friendly, floofy, blue-skinned chicken

Yeah, I don’t think my gloves have very good wrist support. It may be that Title sells lower quality gloves for their classes, and that’s why they push wraps for everybody. I don’t really know, I was just surprised!

Man, I always wore wraps at my no contact class, and my wrists and hands still ached after. I was glad for the support.

I’m really surprised they let beginners go without hand wraps! My understanding was that they were pretty dang important... the gloves protect your knuckles, but the wraps protect your bones and ligaments so you don’t really super regret having punched all those things.

I would happily eat spiralized zucchini, and all the spaghetti squash. Like, don’t get me wrong, pasta is DELICIOUS, but so are vegetables, and if you want to give me delicious saucy roasted squashes, I will make no complaints.

Lol, I got started and then I just couldn’t stop. It’s a snarky kind of day. I’m gonna have to check out that turner though.
