I mostly just slice off the cheeks (the wide sides on either side of the pit) and then peel the skin off with my hands (Not viable, I understand, if you’re allergic to the skin). This has the benefit of taking most of the stringy outer flesh so you end up with big chunks of fruit that won’t get all stuck in your teeth.

It’s not like I don’t drink! I’m just a lightweight and I’ll make myself sick. And then wake up the next day feeling fresh as a daisy. It’s very odd.

Have you tried the Pacific brand tomato soup that comes in a cardboard carton? I just tried it for the first time recently, and I really like it. I got the tomato basil, haven’t tried the basic tomato, but it wasn’t too sweet for me.

  • Do you have a go-to “I’m sickly” soup? When I had the flu a month ago, the only thing I wanted to eat was the egg drop soup from the Chinese restaurant around the corner. I made my partner go get it for me. It may become a sicky staple, now that I know it’s there and good.

Oh yes. I haven’t made homemade pizza since I lost access to my mom’s bread machine and haven’t bought another one. But it’s so great to dump some ingredients in and let it make you some dough for pizza crust or doing whatever you want with after.

You are so, so, so right. I can’t do counting diets. I can’t. If there’s something I can count, I will count it, and then I will quit the diet because it makes me feel crazy.

Fishes? I did discover pork rinds but my mouth wanted them to be slightly chewier, instead of the dryest crunchiest things. A local chicken strip joint near me serves fresh ones. I love fries so much though.

When I was trying low carb (a relatively short-lived experiment, but one I went all-in on for a couple of months), I kept hearing about kohlrabi as being a great vessel for dips. Low carb has a dearth of particularly satisfying dippables, so I looked. And I looked. And I looked.

Ohh yes. Any kind of dieting kicks my anxiety brain into high gear. I tend towards hunger, though. Cutting carbs did reduce my appetite. But it made me feel crazy, and I love fries anyway. I feel like learning to eat normally is a ship long sailed.

I dunno about pie crust, but I’ll be making that quiche in a frozen crust from the store in short order. Sounds delicious. :)

Personally I bought a wake up light because it’s impossible for me to get up in the dark in the winter. I don’t use it year round, but simulating a sunrise during the dark parts of the year is unbelievably helpful for me. If you don’t have that problem, then it’s probably not a product you’d benefit from. And that’s

I’m annoyed because I want an Apple Watch but I like my Android phone.

Man, I like my Huawei Mate 9. Government suspicions aside, it’s a solid device, especially for someone like me who prefers to buy a device in full and put it on a no-contract plan, as it’s a great price. It’s also got the best battery I’ve ever seen. It’s big, it’s pretty, it works well, it stays alive through my most

Oh man it seems like all kinds of skating are so different. I’m learning derby skating right now! I’m the worst at it. I was unstoppable on roller blades as a kid, but quad skates???? Quad skates don’t want to do anything my feet want them to do. I don’t even want to play derby I just wanna screw around on skates haha

Cool, this makes sense to me. Waiters usually introduce themselves to you when you come in, so it makes sense to address them by name if it suits you.

Oh hey neat! My La Croix world is limited to what my local Target carries. I consider myself hashtagblessed when they manage to stock Key Lime.

Argh. Somebody in charge around here really needs to have a word with go.skimresources.somethingorother because external links have been borked for days. Sometimes they work, mostly they don’t ...

I would so buy unsweetened Coke flavored sparkling water. I don’t know if I’d buy it more than once, but I’d definitely try it.

Haha, that’s fair! I’d actually been eyeballing an Apple Watch... they’re pretty. I didn’t realize they didn’t really work with Android, dang. Not that I need a smartwatch... but I can look :P

Opposite here on the computer front, haha. I switched teams at work, and my new team used Macs. I’ve been a diehard Windows user all my life, but wouldn’t you know it? I adore my work Macbook. I’ll probably always have my Windows PC at home (I play games, and I built my PC and like to tinker with it sometimes), but it
