Sweet! I don’t have kids yet, but I still value a home-cooked, easy meal. It’s cheaper, it’s easier to make it healthy. I will likely try this pasta in the near future.

Oh man, I love Caribou. There was one in the student union building on my college campus, and I went there all the time. They melt real chocolate into their mochas and cocoas instead of using syrup, they have an amazing hot cider drink, and their coffee isn’t burnt and bitter. We have a Starbucks in my work building,

Yeah, seriously. “She won’t get rid of her two dogs she loves, she has a dog addiction.” Buddy.

I was disappointed when I switched to Mac for work and didn’t have an equivalent. These days I use a lower right hot corner to pop to screensaver, but I sometimes hit it by accident, which I never did with Windows+L.

You know what really grinds my gears? Windows developers who override common sense on the Mac version of their apps, and force Ctrl instead of Cmd for their shortcuts. *shakes fist at the sky* (this has only happened to me in one program but it made it all the more inexplicable)

There’s a form of some kind for this at the post office, where you can give the names of the residents at the address, and they’ll automatically return to sender anything that’s not supposed to go to you.

I shared a name (first, middle, and last, no less) and a major with someone I went to college with. We got into the habit of forwarding each other things obviously meant for the other, lol.

That sucks about the connectivity, I’ve never had a problem with mine. Have you contacted the company? They’re good about making things right.

I’m doing this kind of thing, too! I know I need to get some exercise in. I miss dancing. I found a weekly adult class on Sundays at a little dance center near my house. Screw it, let’s see if I can commit to that.

Seriously. I love food, I love trying things. But there are a few restaurants where I already know what I want, because good god, that sandwich was amazing. Or whatever. I could try other things on the menu, and they’ll probably be good, but ... that sandwich, though.

Can confirm there’s a Houlihan’s in my hometown, and I didn’t know it was a chain until I found another one in my now-town. They’re still around.

Ah, yeah, makes sense. I also didn’t know there was a limit on borrowed books — i knew it wasn’t yours if you just hit Read for Free, but it also didn’t functionally seem much different. So that’s good to know, too.

Also, I’ve had two separate friends tell me they’re here for me if I need someone to talk me off a ledge when I finish Changes. Lol, it must be intense.

It was legit free to buy at the beginning of November when this was posted.

Yeah, as long as I have room for my old consoles, they hang around. I don’t have my NES anymore (I don’t know what happened to it, maybe Mom got rid of it) and my original Gameboy is a brick, but I still have most of my old consoles and they’re perfectly functional. My Sega Genesis especially gets a lot of nostalgia

Yeeeup. I still havea Sega Genesis and its original box (which is really enthused about 16 bit technology). Though, to be fair... who doesn’t wanna go back and play more Toejam and Earl sometimes?!

All of Brandon Sanderson’s work is really good. Oathbringer is the third in his Stormlight series. They’re massive books, and take awhile to get through, but they’re great. Hope you enjoy!

Seriously! I read the first couple of novels and was lukewarm about them, but James Marsters really brings them to life. How far are you? I just started Dead Beat. I meant to give it a rest to listen to Oathbringer, but I can’t seem to stop, lol

I’ve never listened to The Truth before, but I gave this a listen while doing some tedious work this morning. Excellent!! Thanks for the rec!

I haven’t, I’ll give it a shot. Thanks!
