Depends on you. I highly highly prefer a firmer memory foam pillow when I’m on a less supportive bed (i.e. sleeping at my mom’s house), but when I’m in my tempurpedic, the memory foam pillow got to be a bit too firm, and I switched to a soft bouncy latex foam pillow recently and I’m in love.

My only complaints about it are that the battery isn’t as good as my SO’s Z3 Compact (but that thing’s battery is legendary), and that they switched up the power and volume buttons on me, so I keep accidentally changing the volume. But whatever on the buttons, I’ll get used to them, haha.

Quartz gray for me, I’m not generally a fan of gold. The grey is nice. I love the finish, the speakers have a nice brushed metal thing going on.

Ahh, that sucks! I wonder if they didn’t get enough stock in their Canada warehouse and wanted you to pony up for extra shipping :C I hope you get your phone soon! It’s a good phone.

Oh bummer. I preordered mine from Newegg last Thursday and got it this Wednesday. Where’d you order yours? Mine shipped so quick I assumed they had their inventory problems under control, but maybe Newegg was just better about making sure they got enough stock.

I used to live in a horrendous rental house that must have been full of holes. Anyway, I had good luck with these:

If you’re buying one of these, I highly recommend finding a screen protector on Amazon (I’ve seen them, haven’t tried them). I can’t actually speak to the quality of the screen protectors, but it needs something.

It certainly would have made things a lot more interesting if they hadn’t reset constantly! It was like, they’re years from home. But other than that, there aren’t any real stakes. And if you know going into it that future Janeway saves the day and gets them all home in the end, then it really doesn’t matter at all

I feel like lip balm would make things slipperier. It has beeswax, but also oils and other things. At least my glasses tend to slip because my nose bridge gets oily.

Haha, agreed! I dunno where they would have found replacement crew, though. Unless the crew was 90% aliens by the time they made it home, and at that point, why were they still trying to get to Earth? :)

My adorable, delightful friends (I might be a little bit happy for them) are getting married in her parents backyard. They don’t have money, let’s just have a party!

I grew up with TNG and Voyager (Seven of Nine was probably my first TV crush, so there’s that) and they’re the ones I had nostalgia for. But watching them as an adult, DS9 is such a better show. TNG is fun and optimistic and has Picard (and Voyager doesn’t really have anything on either of them to talk about. It’s

Voyager is one of the weakest of the bunch, in my opinion. It makes liberal use of the reset button, which makes it hard for me to get invested in any given episode. I’ve been watching it recently. Anytime something bad happens / somebody dies, I know they’re going to do something to reset it, so it doesn’t matter.

Today I plugged the bottom with peanut butter, then added some dry food and water so it’d absorb, then sprinkled in some other random goodies. Sealed it off with more peanut butter and froze it.

Yeah, the trainer where I adopted my dog from recommends food toys rather than feeding from a bowl. Anything to make ‘em work their brains a little. Of course, the little shit barely eats her meals at all at the moment, so we’re working up to it. But an interestingly stuffed and frozen Kong goes over very well during

I used this plan for several years, it’s great. I recently switched to Cricket, because I’m needing more talk minutes these days, and I get way better coverage on AT&T’s towers around here.

When my boyfriend and I moved in together years ago, I discovered that he had a very nice wok that he let rust. I don’t know why he has it, he doesn’t like to cook. Anyway, it’s mine now, but I don’t know how to clean up the rust and make it usable again. Any suggestions?

I was excited to turn my Fitbit back into a watch (I mostly only wear it for my insurance kick back) and getting text/phone notifications. I wanted an actual display. I just wish it was more scratch resistant. I noticed little scratches on it from just, like, wiping off fingerprints after just a few days. Or I wish

I am sad to report that I’ve found the flaw with the Alta, and that is that the screen isn’t very sturdy. There’s no kind of lip or bevel on it, it’s extremely easy to scratch. I’m not real careful with my arms, so mine’s pretty dinged up, even though I’ve only been wearing it for a couple of months. Shrug, can’t win

I feel like the Alta has a way better design that way. You don’t have to remove the band to charge (the charger clips on the back), and the band clips on with metal connectors that makes it really easy to swap out without stressing the plastic with repeated stretching.
