Trump has the backing of congress, and congress has a president that will rubber stamp anything they give him apparently. Throw in the fact that they likely get to replace multiple members of the supreme court, and I’d say that things are going to look very different in the US going forward.

They found a clone of Scalia in the White House basement. They’re just going to use that.

I’m hoping that the conservative party will realize that nothing will galvanize liberals to get out and vote like leitch or o’leary. That, and trump is setting fire to the idea that a business man is a better leader than a career politician.

It’s hard to be optimistic when I was so sure that there was no way America would elect a moldy orange (I haven’t given up hope that I’m actually in a coma with severe head trauma). I’m glad to meet another reasonable Canadian also!
